Restore the Workers' Rights Party

Party objectives

The Restore the Workers' Rights Party lists its main objective as;

"Restoration of injured persons to fair and just compensation for their injuries and disabilities, and failing agreement on quantum of / and or right compensation, the full restoration and maintenance of independant and unfettered judicial determination of those entitlements."

The Restore the Workers' Rights Party has decided that until this objective is met by the Australian Labor Party, elected members of the Restore the Workers' Rights Party will abstain from voting. Once our objective has been met, then elected members must vote in accordance with the direction of the leader of the Australian Labor Party.

The three (3) remaining policies of the Restore the Workers' Rights Party are:

  1. Reduction in non-economic loss thresholdsfrom 10% to 5% for those injured in motor vehicle accidents in New South Wales.
  2. Reduction in Politician superannuation from 66% down to 9%.
  3. To support an enquiry into the insurance industry and the failure of insurance companies to make adequate provisions for claims and the unjust rate of premiums, particularly with respect to public liability.
